    Marsh Hen Hunt

Marsh hen hunting in the Lowcountry of South Carolina and Georgia offers a unique sporting tradition, challenging hunters with the elusive clapper rail amidst the sprawling salt marshes. These birds are cunning, preferring to run and swim rather than fly, creating a thrilling chase that demands quick reflexes and a steady aim. A typical hunt lasts 2-3 hours, often timed around the peak of the tide.
