We are a dedicated group that strives to show our clients the best the Georgia Marsh has to offer on every trip while keeping them safe and comfortable.
Tall Tides Charters offers full day, half day, and specialty light tackle and fly fishing charters for redfish, tarpon, and jack crevalle out of Savannah, Tybee Island, Bluffton, Richmond Hill, and Pooler, GA. OWNER/OUTFITTER/HEAD GUIDECaptain Chad grew up in Savannah, spending most of his weekends and summers on the water. In 2008, he moved west and in 2010 made his way to Montana, working as a fly fishing guide. Cutting his teeth on the big western rivers and guiding in Patagonia in 2013.
Coming back to Savannah in 2015, to run the local fly shop. Chad has spent the last decade honing in on the beautiful local waterways he grew up on, and wants to share his experience and knowledge with you. As an Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Outfitter…Chad has worked tirelessly to build TTC into what it is today. Having also founded Georgia Saltwater Anglers Assoc. and the Savannah Fly Invitational and Co-Owner of Tall Tides Travels with Captains Chase and Perry.

SENIOR GUIDE
Captain Perry grew up in South Louisiana and spent the majority of his free time as a child out on the water catching redfish and speckled trout with his grandfather Captain Peter Broussard, “Pops”. At around the age of 11, he took an interest in sight fishing with artificial lures which sparked in interest to learn habits of the fish he targeted. For the past 15 years he has fished for redfish all over the Southeast and uses knowledge learned from every destination.
Captain Perry specializes in sight fishing redfish with fly rod and conventional tackle throughout the tidal range. Other targeted species on his radar include, speckled trout, flounder and sheepshead. Black drum, jack cravelle and Triple tail are more seasonal or opportunity fish.

Captain Chase offers a lifetime of experience in the outdoors and an extremely unique approach to fishing.
Captain Chase was born and raised in the North Georgia mountains, where he developed his love and obsession for the outdoors. He learned to carry rod and gun by the age of four and spent several years traveling with his father to Savannah’s Ossabaw Island to participate in youth hunting trips.
Having spent the last ten years navigating the coastal waters of Georgia and South Carolina by sea and by air, each and every fishing trip with Chase will offer you with the opportunity to explore parts of the coast that your average fishing trip simply cannot offer.

Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, Josh was fortunate to grow up on a tidal creek, where he spent his childhood exploring the waterways and running the creeks. He was introduced to fishing in his teens, and it sparked a lifelong passion.
Josh’s love for the water and the thrill of a tight line continue to fuel his drive to grow as both an angler and a guide. He is always seeking new techniques and knowledge to sharpen his skills. One of the most rewarding parts of this journey is sharing that passion with others—whether they're just starting out or seasoned veterans of the sport.

What To Bring
Polarized sunglasses (amber, copper, and green lenses preferred)
Hat and any needed sun protection
Quick drying conditions appropriate clothing
Rain gear, jackets and pants
Shoes with non-marking soles
Booking/Cancellation Policy
We take safety seriously. Our Captain’s will use their discretion during times of adverse conditions. Any cancellations made by the Captain can be rescheduled or refunded entirely. Deposits are due at time of booking. Final payments are due by the date of trip. Bookings are non-refundable and any cancelled days will result in a credit that can be used within one year of original booking date.
